These paintings are very religious and scary in some cases.
Pick two and write a small description of what is going on. (One paragraph: describe the action in the painting)
Make sure you write down the name of the artist and painting.
European Art 17th—19th Century (Upstairs)
These paintings are portraits, landscapes and object paintings.
Choose two portraits and write about the subject.
Pretend that you are a private detective and the people in the paintings are your targets find out everything you can about these people.
By looking at the paintings, the cards and if you need to you can make up some too.
Art of the 20th Century (Down Stairs)
This art might be the most recognizable art to you.
I have two tasks: What is going on in the abstract works? (Choose two)
Explain the lack of refinement and explain how that is ok and how it works in two other specific situations.
