Jeff Robin Project Based Learning
Jeff Robin taught for 27 years. He is a founding faculty member of High Tech High in San Diego and remained an active collaborative project-based learning teacher at High Tech High until 2017. As a founding faculty member at a "teacher-run school," he was there initially planning the schedule and the flow of students through the course of the day, year and time at High Tech High. He was the most visible practitioner of PBL, through the work that his student made. From the school website, curriculum design, professional development to school design, Jeff created a beautiful school and maintained a high standard for himself, his coworkers, and students for 17 years. Please see this website jeffrobin.com. Look at the Project Portal of his and student work throughout his tenure. The animations he made explain what he did at High Tech High. The animations are to the point and funny, helping people all over the world implement PBL into their schools and classrooms. Currently, Jeff has been visiting schools, running workshops, and coaching teachers around PBL in their classrooms and is a practicing artist in San Diego. |
